Pre- and Post- Operative and Injury Rehabilitation

Melody has studied with physical therapists and chiropractors, accruing considerable experience in injury rehabilitation. While serving as a training assistant to intramural football and soccer teams, she developed her skills in assisted stretching and warm-up exercises. She has helped with rehabilitation work with team members as well. Melody also is a Certified Massage Therapist with significant training in various modalities, including Thai, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Swedish, Chair, and Deep Tissue massage.

New Class: Pain-Free Movement
This class basically concentrates on relieving/preventing chronic and acute pain while strengthening the core, ankles, stabilizers, arms, and legs.  I combine the best of Pilates, dance, martial arts, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, yoga, chiropractic range of motion exercises, and even some self-massage techniques.  Light weights are used.
