I started training with Melody Schoenfeld in mid-March 2002. I trained two times a week with her and at least one other day on my own for two months. We spent one training session a week focusing on upper body and the other on lower body supplemented by cardio.

The reason I initially hired Melody as a trainer is because of my history of lower back problems. One day while I was working out, (without knowing me) she looked at me and asked if I had lower back problems (how did she know that?), and offered to help me stretch out.
