Melody Schoenfeld, MA, CSCS, is a certified, highly educated personal trainer with well over 20 years of training experience in many different disciplines. In addition to an excellent success record in creating fun, individualized training programs that help people to reach their weight loss, athletic performance, and muscle gain needs, Melody is a CAMTC Certified Massage Therapist specializing in trigger point and myofascial release. Melody has four years of education in Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
Melody holds a master's degree in health psychology and writes and speaks both nationally and internationally on a wide variety of health and fitness subjects. Melody has held state and American records in all three lifts in powerlifting (squat, bench press, deadlift), and competes in powerlifting and strongman. Melody also is an aficionado of oldtime strongman feats of strength and performs such feats as tearing phone books and license plates in half, and bending steel rebar, horseshoes, and nails.

Melody is certified to administer Grey Cook's Functional Movement Screen (FMS).
Melody is a Certified Indian Clubs Specialist (CICS), trained under modern day champion and pioneer of Indian Clubs, Dr. Ed Thomas.
Melody has had the honor of being an assistant instructor with the RKC and with StrongFirst multiple times both nationally and internationally. She is trained in boxing, and has played on soccer and floor hockey teams. She has been dancing since the age of 3 (ballet, modern, jazz, ballroom, swing, Latin, and even a little Korean) and rollerblades. Melody is a competitive powerlifter and strongman athlete.
Melody owns Evil Munky Enterprises, which manufactures water fillable custom maces, globe dumbbells, and globe barbells, custom monkey bars, and other custom metal fitness equipment you likely won't see in many other places.
